With three areas each about the size of Liberty City.
MGS3 deserves it more than MGS4. That was way too convoluted, although it was definitely a joy to behold.
The AI wasn't perfect before, but it was completely retarded in BM. At least in the old games, bodies didn't go completely flat, no matter where you shot them. Story was MUCH better in SA (hate the flashback structure of Contracts & BM), and it had more memorable missions (e.g. Invitation To A Party, Jacuzzi Job, etc), although there were a few duffers here and there (Hidden Valley was pretty bad).
For one thing, the AI was terrible. The ragdolls were shit compared to the previous games (bodies slid off of tables like butter), and it generally wasn't as good as Silent Assassin. Definitely an improvement in some areas over Contracts, though.
Thank God for that.
Anyone played the game? Played it on PC so I could use the uncensored patch, and it was fantastic.
Of course you smell a troll.
Which makes them pretty much impossible to get.
Also, Lost and Damned at least had a superior story and main character compared to Ballad Of Gay Tony.
The killer for obvious reasons, and the passer-bys for not doing a damn thing to help the guy.
:/
Seriously, the freefall mission where you have to catch the falling woman is one of my all-time favourite gaming moments. Just incredibly awesome.
Plus, the AI was fantastic. I liked how they'd try to disarm you and use your own guns against you, which meant running around with the rocket launcher was generally a bad idea :P
Also, the highway chase on the bike, where you slide under a tanker and use the flamethrower to toast an enemy right above you = BADASS
:/
Custom soundtracks were added in 2008.
Also, I'm guessing you smash yourself then?
The ragdolls were actually worse than before, with bodies sliding off tables like butter, and the AI was still pathetic. Plus, 47 walked like he had a stick up his ass :P
Still, I did have a lot of fun using an M4 with drum magazine (but why'd they take the minigun out?!). Also, the mission set in the suburbs was great.
THAT WAS A FU**ING AWESOME ENDING.
But it doesn't really matter to me. Game's still pretty damn fun, though not quite as good as Resonance of Fate, despite the crappy story in that game (I HATED THE GODDAMN ENDING). But I'd say the PS3 version makes up for it with the extra content and dual audio track. Makes the little girl a helluva lot less annoying :P
Still, I'm saving up my money to get an HDTV, because this game looks like sh!t on my SDTV. Text is barely visible, and this is exacerbated if you go for the c...
Not Johnny.
Use a shotgun, you're a shotgun noob.
Use an assault rifle, you're an AR noob.
Use CQC, you've a CQC noob.
Use magazines, you're a magazine noob.
Skate 2 had dlc that unlocked extra render effects for the replay mode, which were all in the original game from day 1. But what did anyone expect? It's EA, and despite the fact that their games are much better than a few years ago, their dlc plans still piss me off.
That is all.
